Main title in lower quarter, "A vote for Milroy is a vote for the policy of Griffith and Griffith's policy is the only foundation on which the prosperity and freedom of Ireland can be built". Seán Milroy unsuccessfully contested the Cavan constituency during the 1927 General Election as an independent candidate after leaving Cumann na nGaedheal. He was later elected to Seanad Éireann.
